ROI Estimator
What could Kaela be worth to your field operation?
Put in your own numbers below and see an estimate update as you type. It counts only what Kaela removes at the source — the human factor is mitigated, not eliminated — so it aims low, not high.
Your field team
Count only reps who take orders or sell — not delivery-only drivers.
Reps who take orders for later delivery and don't carry sellable stock.
Reps who carry stock and sell or leave product during the visit.
Days your field team actively sells — often around 250.
Selling activity
Rough averages are fine.
Average orders one pre-sales rep writes in a day.
Average truck sales plus new orders one van rep writes in a day.
Typical size of an order taken for later delivery.
Typical size of a sale left with the customer off the truck.
Order handling today
Where the savings come from.
Across everyone who helps: keying orders, gathering the paperwork, answering rep calls about prices, stock and order status, and chasing unclear or missing orders. Several people sharing the load is common. Kaela orders arrive electronically and reps see prices, stock and status on the device. Count only the time that goes away; reps will still call about exceptions.
Fully-burdened hourly cost of back-office staff (wages + payroll tax + benefits).
Errors Kaela removes at the source: handwriting/transcription mistakes, wrong or stale prices, and orders that should've been blocked for a past-due account. (Not misheard items or wrong ship-to — those are the human factor Kaela mitigates but can't eliminate.)
Add it up: office time to find and fix it (credit memo, re-invoice, call the customer), margin given back on a price error, and the share that need a second delivery. Most errors are fixed with a credit memo, not a truck. Your credit memo count from last year is a good check.
Cash flow
Invoices that don't wait on paperwork free up cash.
Only the delay Kaela can remove: orders and delivery paperwork waiting to be keyed or checked before the invoice goes out. Don't count delivery time — a pre-sale is invoiced when it's delivered. For many operations this is 1–3 days.
What cash costs you a year, such as your credit-line rate. Used to value the cash freed up. Leave blank for 7%.
Sales upside: what if (optional)
Shown separately, never counted in the estimate.
Time a rep no longer spends writing, re-checking or calling in each order. Even one minute adds up. Leave blank to claim none.
Used to turn time saved into orders, at the rep's own pace. Leave blank for 8.
Rough gross margin on a typical sale, used only to value the what-if scenarios.
What it costs to pick and deliver one more order (driver, truck, stop). Subtracted from the "more orders" scenario. Leave blank to skip.
Investment (optional)
If you have a number in mind, we'll estimate payback. Leave it blank and we'll follow up with a payback estimate.
Time before Kaela is in full use. Savings in year one start after it, so payback and year-one ROI include it. Leave blank for none.

What this assumes
- Kaela removes the office time you entered for field orders and rep support (orders arrive electronically; reps see prices, stock and status on the device).
- Kaela removes 80% of the error types it controls; the human factor is mitigated, not counted.
- Only the invoicing delay caused by paperwork counts toward cash flow, not delivery time. Freed cash is valued at your cost of money (7% if left blank).
- No revenue increase is assumed — this is a cost-and-cash estimate only.
